NEP selects Lilliput from AVW for HD and UHD Vision Monitoring

NEP Australia has installed Lilliput Touch Screen HD Monitors and UHD 4K Viewing Monitors supplied by AVW Broadcast Pty Ltd for their Field Production Applications.
The YL-156MCT Mons HD 15.6 inch monitors are utilised for Audio Suites within both the HD11 and HD12 OB Vehicles as VSM and Spot-on replay control.
Jim Tinker General Manager Engineering Services NEP Australia explained, “The 15.6” monitors suit their application perfectly due to the physical structure of the units and ideal connection points” adding that “The 4K UHD Monitors BM280-4K will be used for NEP’s coverage of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Channel 7 in general monitoring positions for programme viewing. Following the Rio deployment it is intended that these 4K units will be used in commentary positions for NEP’s Outside Broadcast Production”
The recently released Lilliput BK series 4K monitors are now available from AVW (Australia and New Zealand) – available in three model sizes, ranging from 15inch, 23inch and 28inch. All BK series monitors support up to 3840×2160 UHD native resolutions, along with 3G-SDI, HDMI and analog inputs. The three sizes can all be supplied with transportable road cases for storage and deployment.
