New IN1608 xi Scaling Presentation Switchers with Powerful New Features

The industry’s leading presentation switcher, the IN1608, just got better by introduction of new ‘xi’ models. Introducing the IN1608 xi HDCP-compliant scaling presentation switchers with four HDMI inputs, two universal analog video inputs, and two DTP inputs. Features specific to the ‘xi’ models include DTP output compatibility with HDBaseT-enabled devices, allowing the transmission of video and embedded audio, bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals to HDBaseT-enabled displays. RS-232 insertion from the Ethernet control ports provide comprehensive control at endpoints for attached devices, eliminating the need for additional equipment. Also included on IPCP models is an integrated three-port AV LAN switch, providing local control of AV devices connected to the local AV LAN, while isolating them from the corporate network. With these added features, the IN1608 xi remains the industry standard for fully integrated AV systems, greatly simplifying system design and installation while dramatically reducing your client’s total cost of ownership.
